Lyra software at Smart Logistics Conference



On March 18th 2010 was held the first annual conference Smart Logistics, organized by Uconomics. The seminar was focused on the growth opportunities in the transportation sector in Bulgaria, SCM, logistic technologies, systems and solutions for optimization of the logistics and freight forwarding and good practices for better logistic process and services. Lyra Software is one of the companies that received special invitation to take part in the conference. Mr. Dimitar Mashev, Managing Director, Lyra Software was first to present in the second session of the conference.


In the presentation, Mr. Mashev highlighted the main trends in the logistic sector worldwide and in Bulgaria, the problems that the companies are facing today and their IT needs. The presentation included the main features of the integrated business management software. Rtrans, the specialized solution for transport, freight forwarding and logistic companies was also introduced, as well as its benefits. At the end, Mr. Mashev paid attention to the main trends in the future development of the sector.

New Version of Rtrans



During last month, Lyra Software released the new version of the transportation software Rtrans. The new version includes new functionality, based on the customer needs analysis and the experience of the company’s professionals from the numerous projects in transportation and freight forwarding companies.


The new version of Rtrans is more flexible and can be integrated with various external systems. One of the main features is the possibility for integration with request web form. Lyra Software offers the entire service – Rtrans implementation as well as development and integration of customized web form for each customer.


With the new version the users can work even faster and more effective and will be able to handle customer requests immediately. The managers will have detailed data about the company and the business processes, on which basis they can make critical decisions.


These features are applicable for both new and current customers.

The students from the faculty of transportation will explore Rtrans and CargoWiz


From the new school year 2009/10 the students from the faculty of transportation in the Technical University of Sofia have started to study the transportation and freight forwarding software products Rtrans and CargoWiz.


Rtrans has been developed by Lyra Software in order to optimize the business in the transportation and freight forwarding companies in Bulgaria, to help them organize the business processes and to gather full control over them. CargoWiz is a product from the American company Softtruck which is easy to use and affordable software for creating compact load plans. CargoWiz ensures optimal load of pallets, crates, cartons, etc.


Both solutions represent the innovations and the last trends in the transportation sector not only in Bulgaria but worldwide as well. They are proven efficient and embed all the business processes in the transportation companies.
